| THE UDDER SIDE OF FUN Monday, 17th May 2010 The winner of Irene Village Mall’s “Through the Udder Side of the Lens” photo competition is Penny McKenna, with the adorable picture of her youngest son playing in our famous fountain. She is an amateur photographer who enjoys taking pictures of her three beautiful children in quaint settings. She was awarded an Advanced Photoshop and Flash Photography course at the Open Window Academy in Centurion for her entry in “The Udder Side of Fun” category. The winners in the other categories received Printing Workshops, also courtesy of Open Window, at the award ceremony on Saturday 15 May 2010. All the finalists and their families gathered for a celebration at Braza restaurant after the prize-giving. During the preceding week, the finalists’ photos drew many admiring glances while being displayed in the piazza. The web-driven competition drew quite a few entries, but we hope to expand it even further in future. We urge all our loyal customers to continue enjoying taking their photos of their loved ones in the picturesque setting of Irene Village Mall.
